My Background
Jacob "Dom" Domalewski is a 2019 graduate of Hanover College. An experienced craftsman specializing in cemetery preservation and restoration. He is dedicated to maintaining the beauty and integrity of historic headstones and monuments. Jacob offers headstone cleaning, monument restoration, workshops and cemetery conservation and consultation services.
During his undergraduate, Dom spent countless hours working in the Hanover College archives. He studied abroad in Vietnam, Bulgaria, and Cuba, and interned with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, studying cemetery preservation.
Dom's interest in cemetery preservation arose in 2011, when he joined "Stories Behind the Stones," a cemetery preservation group. As Dom honed his skills, he began to reach-out to others, offering his services.
When not teaching or preserving stones, Dom can be found traveling the world, driving his classic truck, or Civil War reenacting.
Jacob is a member of the Friends of Fairview cemetery board.
